Occupying a converted Edwardian warehouse in the heart of Clerkenwell, this home merges the industrial character of the original design and a series of modern interventions. Exposed brick, steel and glass create a sequence of spaces that feel both architectural and lived-in. Featured in The Telegraph, Wallpaper* and The Spaces, this space offers a unique way to experience one of London's most creative neighbourhoods, where design, art, and restaurants sit alongside centuries of urban history.

Sleeping up to six guests across three bedrooms, the house offers generous spaces, a fully equipped kitchen and a roof terrace with glass doors that you can open for that indoor-outdoor feel. While the interiors invite relaxation at home with your loved ones, Clerkenwell is home to some of London's most exciting cultural and culinary destinations. Old Street station is just a short walk away, making access to the rest of the city and Heathrow airport via the Elisabeth line incredibly easy while still allowing guests to return to a quieter corner of the city's design district.

Kindly note that we do not recommend this stay for younger children/toddlers. This is because we do not provide cots, high chairs, or stair gates. The property has floating metal stairs with open backings, so it is not suitable for young children and guests with mobility issues.

About the space

From the moment you enter, the house reveals itself through a carefully choreographed interplay of materials, reflections and light. The sculptural steel-and-glass staircase rises through the centre of the building, connecting each level while drawing daylight deep into the interior. On the ground floor, a study area framed by a large black glass table and a colourful library wall provides a quiet place to work, read or simply pause. Adjacent to this space is a double bedroom and a shower room, both conveniently located near the entrance.

The first floor accommodates two further bedrooms, each designed as a calm and comfortable retreat from the energy of the city outside. One bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room, while the other is connected through to the main bathroom through a private entrance. This striking main bathroom, where walls of mirror create infinite reflections, transforms an everyday space into something unique, like a jewel box or an art installation.

Above, a contemporary glass extension crowns the original warehouse, creating a light-filled living, dining and kitchen space with panoramic views across the rooftops of Clerkenwell. Full-height glazed doors open directly onto the terrace on both sides, blurring the boundary between indoors and out. A bespoke kitchen runs the length of the room, while a wood burner and soft leather seating create a welcoming atmosphere as daylight fades and the room becomes illuminated by the historical St Luke’s church just beyond the glass.
